The last couple days we’ve been in the process of designing new merch for our upcoming tour. The scrutinizing and tedious hours of photoshop, debate over fonts and the countless revisions that accompany the task have been in full effect. We have a long tour ahead, and want to make sure we have enough designs for the people.

So, in anticipation for the road we’re creating 3 new T-shirts. And for one of the shirts, we’ve decided it’s time to let our friend, Raven Bowie (aka “Mr. steal your mom”, aka “Da dry humpa” aka “Pink snake”) get his shine on. That’s right. An “And We Danced” shirt is on it’s way my people! And since the song is definitely a fan favorite at shows, we decided to incorporate the fans into the design.

We want you to write “And We Danced” in your own handwriting. It can be in your normal writing, bubble letters, artsy font, chicken scratch, all caps, no caps…..ANYTHING, as long as it’s authentic! If you want to write your favorite line from the song, that’s great too. Or, a drawing/doodle of Raven Bowie, dancing shoes, a cape, disco ball, anything that reminds you of the song. The more ideas/drawings the better. After you’ve created your piece, scan it or take a picture. Ideally we would like JPEG’s that are high resolution, so please blow it up as big as you can. Then send the file to MacklemoreTeam@Gmail.com. We’re going to take our favorite designs, combine the drawings in a collage and YOUR ART will be the T-Shirt. We don’t want you to over think this process, so the deadline for the drawings is Sunday by 1pm. 48 hours! But that should be plenty of time. You got this! We’re all looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
